FAC was founded in 1972 by a dedicated and talented individual namely Mr. Mathew D'Souza who took up challenging jobs and developed indigenously critical non-ferrous components viz., marine valves, centrifugally-cast rudder bushes for Indian Navy, for their various Aircraft Carriers, Submarines, Leander Class Frigates, Destroyers, Coast Guards, Mine Sweepers and Warship Projects. Mr. Mathew D'Souza is the Managing Director of FAC The principle tenet of FAC is to provide solutions to customers problems by designing and developing special products. This tenet is fulfilled through manufacturing of products, superior in quality, workmanship, reliability and price-performance ratio. The last 39 years has seen, FAC succeed in bringing out excellent products. Today it is recognised and well known in the non-ferrous castings and marine valves market all over India. FAC products, were developed and designed from the outset, with the future in mind. The opportunity to work with Defence organisations in India, for developing specifically ‘Import Substitutes’, meeting the rigorous ‘MIL Specifications’, has played a vital role in the development of API-6D Oil & Gas Pipeline Valves. Based on the technical know-how and expertise, FAC has branched out into Emflo Valves Division in the year of 1992. In recent years our firm is in the mode of rapid expansion. We have already set-up a second facility at MIDC - Ambernath. Also, we have taken possession of another plot in the same industrial zone admeasuring about 100,000 sq ft & are currently undertaking a 7 Million USD project for developing the same FAC has an independent infrastructure of its own with a full-fledged Machine Shop and a non-ferrous foundry which is capable of producing castings of all types, shapes and sizes conforming to ASTM, SAE, BS, DIN, IS and other International Standards.
