Maharashtra governor, his excellency Mr Ramesh Bais presented the Export Excellence Awards for 2021-2022 to leading exporters from various states and women entrepreneurs at a programme in Mumbai on June 22, 2024. Mr. Vincent Mathias , the Chairman & managing director, along with the director Mr. Vernon V Mathias of Velvin Group received the Award for Velvin Paper Products as the highest foreign exchange earner in Goa for the 2021-22.

The award function was organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), an apex export promotion body under the ministry of commerce. The FIEO Federation president Ashwini Kumar, industrial development commissioner Deependra Singh Kushwaha, FIEO Western Region president Paresh Mehta, CEO Dr Ajay Sahay were among those present on the dais. At this joyous moments the director of Velvin Group Mr. Verton V Mathias extended their thanks and appreciation to all the Velvin staff, customers all over the globe and their well wishers.

The CCCI just concluded its tour to South Korea from 3rd November 24 to 12th November 2024. The same was conducted by Trinity Air Travel and Tours Pvt Ltd, one of the largest and leading travel agencies in India. South Korea is known as the Land of the Morning Calm because of its natural beauty. The tour was well conducted and organised by Trinity Travels. It was well appreciated by one and all.

On 29th November 2024, an interesting session was conducted by Mr. Alwyn Furtado on GST-new developments in 2024. Mr. Furtado, a retired senior Audit Officer, has served over 34 years with CAG(Comptroller and Auditor General) of India. He is also visiting faculty member at the CAG’S regional training institute. He is affiliated with Transformatrix Global Pvt Ltd. The session was well attended and appreciated by all the attendees.
