St. John College of Humanities and Sciences has been granted Autonomous Status by the UGC from the Academic Year 2025-26. 

We are proud to announce that the St. John College of Humanities and Sciences has been granted Autonomous Status by the UGC from the Academic Year 2025-26.

SJCHS is the youngest Autonomous college in the University of Mumbai and the only one of its kind in Palghar District. With this achievement , all three of our Degree granting Institutes in the St. John Campus – Engineering, Pharmacy and Humanities are fully Autonomous, which grants us the power to adapt our Teaching, Learning and Assessment to closely match the needs of the Industry.
